Our Story

In 1975, Jim McDonald acquired a small paint and glass company with a vision to grow it into a trusted, local business. Over the years, he worked hard to expand its offerings, gradually adding products such as paint, flooring, cabinetry, and window coverings to meet the evolving needs of his customers. Under his leadership, the business became a cornerstone in the community, known for its quality products and personalized service. In 2002, his son, Joel McDonald, joined the company, bringing fresh ideas and a shared passion for continuing the family tradition. After years of collaboration, Joel became a partner in 2008, learning every aspect of the business alongside his father. In 2018, Joel took over full ownership, carrying on the family legacy and further building on his father’s foundation to ensure the business remained a trusted name for years to come.
